Churchill Park can accommodate children with special needs at all of its preschool child care sites.   We accept at risk children and will continue to maintain high quality care for our typically developing children – or we will find alternative care for them.  Churchill Park accepts children who are “at risk”, and children who have developmental delays or behaviour concerns as long as we are able to access the resources we require to meet their individual needs. This may include the involvement of external support programs through Alberta Children and Youth Services , private donors and corporations through resources such as Supported Child Care.  This support gives children with special needs an opportunity to be included with their peers in child care settings by providing extra support to child care facilities.
