Penny Gagnon
Chief Executive Officer

Penny Gagnon accepted the lead position with Churchill Park in June 2016. Penny is a transformational and values based leader, with over 15 years of executive leadership specializing in non-profit organizations and team development fostering a culture of shared vision, ethical practice and integrity. Penny's leadership as Executive Director of the Child Development Centre Society of Fort St. John and District for the last 9 years has demonstrated skills to inspire commitment in others, project and management skills to lead significant change, and business skills to enable substantial financial and program growth and stability.

Dionne Maier
Director of Human Resources
Dionne has been with Churchill Park since 1996 and, in that time, has worked in many of the programs in the agency. She is Director of Human Resources and an active member of the Executive Team. She is originally from Saskatchewan, and received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina. Dionne is certified as a Child Development Supervisor in the province of Alberta.  Since joining the Executive Team, she has completed her Non-Profit Management Certificate from Mount Royal University, and most recently received her designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).  Dionne loves to spend time with her large family and can often be found gardening, curling or at the baseball diamonds.

Christie Scarlett
Director of Operations
Christie began with Churchill Park Family Care Society in December 2004 as a Dayhome Consultant and moved to being the Program Manager of Family Childcare. She then moved her career to Churchill Park’s newest program BabyWorks where she was the Program Manager. Christie has completed her Early Childhood Supervisor Certificate and her Children’s Mental Health Certificate at Mount Royal University. She enjoys spending quality time with her family taking in the many family activities and events Calgary has to offer.
